On the piano was George Burton, on drums Wayne Smith jr., both from Philadelphia and two of the great young players on the US and international jazz scene. On bass was the unbelievable master, James Genus who is known for his work with Michael Brecker, Pat Martino, Ravi Coltrane and who has been one of the most prominent bassists in jazz over the last 30 years. It has been a pleasure and a thrill to work with him. On the selection "Larsio Theme" the band is joined by the outstanding singer Oli Rockberger.
Currently Lars is in the studio with engineer Rene Antelmann to mix the tracks they have recorded. The music will be available soon to listen to on this page. Most of the compositions are originals by Lars, two pieces are jazz standards in new arrangements.

Discography

Recordings:

Lars Haake Quartet: Organism Featuring James Genus (to be released summer 2011)
Lars Haake Quartett Seeon Sessions (2002)
Lars Haake/Stephan Fuchs: Lala Means I Love You (2000)

And as a side artist on:
Kabarett Inflagranti: Sortenrein (2008)
Ursuesse (2005)
EKB: Fishbowl (2004)
King Britt: The Philadelphia Experiment Remixed (2002)
Tine Bruhn Group: Love Dance (2003)
Kabarett Inflagranti: Naturtrueb (2002(
Meredith Levande: Half Her (2002)
Baal: Lemon (1995)

Lars has performed on the sound track for the motion picture "Christine" staring Esther Schweintz.

Lars has performed with:

Sandra Aran, Joe Blaxx, Hiram Bullock, George Burton, James Cammac, Jean Caze, Wayne Darling, Kenwood Dennard, Natalie Dietrich, Mike DiRubbo, Sullivan Fortner, Stephan Fuchs, James Genus, Aaron Goldberg, Carola Grey, Tony Grey, Janek Gwizdala, Hans Hafner, Hiromi, Karoline Höfler, Joel Holmes, Pauline Jean, Mimi Jones, Willie Jones III., Georg Karger, Mark Kelley, Marco Panascia, Marcello Pelliteri, Valery Ponomarev, Victor Prieto, Oli Rockberger, Daniela Schaechter, Kendrick Scott, Wolfgang Schmidt, Wayne Smith jr., Roman Schwaller, E.J.
